An eight-hour care block provides extended assistance for clients who need more consistent support throughout the day.

Overnight assistance may be available for clients who benefit from a reassuring presence, safety monitoring, or household support during nighttime hours.

All overnight arrangements require advance consultation, scheduling review, and a written service plan.

Live-in arrangements are not instant-purchase services. Each request must be reviewed based on:

How Care Planning Works

1. Request a Consultation

Tell us about the client, household, schedule, location, and type of support needed.

2. Discuss the Client’s Needs

We review routines, preferences, safety considerations, scheduling needs, and authorized family contacts.

3. Build the Care Plan

We recommend an appropriate service schedule and clearly define the approved tasks, frequency, duration, and cost.

4. Confirm Services

The client or authorized representative reviews and signs the required service documents.

5. Begin Support

Services begin according to the approved schedule and written care plan.

6. Review and Adjust

The care plan may be updated as the client’s household, schedule, or support needs change.

Choosing the Right Care Option

Consider the following questions:

  • How often is support needed?
  • Which tasks are becoming difficult?
  • Does the client spend long periods alone?
  • Is transportation limiting independence?
  • Does the household need regular homemaker support?
  • Does a family caregiver need relief?
  • Would a consistent weekly schedule help?
  • Are overnight or extended services being considered?
  • Does the client prefer a particular caregiver?
  • Who should receive service updates?

Our team can help families review these questions and identify an appropriate starting point.

Important Service Boundaries

One Companion & Homemakers, LLC provides nonmedical homemaker, companion, transportation, and practical support services.

Our services do not replace licensed medical care, nursing, emergency services, physical therapy, medication administration, diagnosis, or treatment.

Clients should contact an appropriate healthcare professional regarding medical conditions, medication decisions, clinical concerns, or changes in health.
